These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MindVault ("the Service"), operated by MindVault ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Description of Service
MindVault is a personal knowledge management tool that uses AI to interview you and build a structured knowledge graph accessible via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Service allows you to store personal information and make it accessible to compatible AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT.
3. Your Content and Data
You retain full ownership of all content and information you provide to MindVault ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. Do not enter sensitive information such as passwords, financial account numbers, or government identification numbers.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit malicious code, spam, or unauthorized advertising
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Collect or harvest data from the Service without authorization
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at mindvault@polsia.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
6. Paid Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MINDVAULT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MindVault and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at mindvault@polsia.app.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
